Visual utilizes an array of unique inspection
instrument to provide pipeline callipering services,
to measure all pipe geometry. These services have
proven successful as solutions to once thought
impossible. R&R Visual offers both dry and
wet calipers for all situations. Now, R&R
can determine pipe corrosion by comparing the
original interior diameter to the current interior
diameter within 5mm. Wet, or pipes filled with
water, can be callipered using one of our pipeline
sonar systems. Dry pipelines can be callipered
using our laser profiling systems. We have integrated
this instrument with R&R Visual’s proprietary
software, as well as Clearline Software, allowing
three-dimensional modeling of subsurface pipelines,
shafts, and ducts, as well as real time measurement
or defects, pipe size, and debris volumes.

Many cities across the world rely on their interceptor
sewer as a method of storage of waste and storm
water during waether events. Keeping these pipelines
free of sediment and debris is becoming a necessity.
These profiling services are also useful to determine
the sediment depth and overall volumes in pipelines,
both prior and after cleaning. This allow municipalities
to receive accurate quotations from cleaning company,
now that they know the exact amount of debris
in the pipelines. Cleaning quotations and bids
will be more competitive, make this service a
cost saving to our customers in the long run.

dry pipes, Laser Profiler allows you to get extremely
accurate pipeline measurements. The system projects
a laser ring on the pipe wall which is recorded
for data analysis. A sophisticated suite of software
tools is available for R&R Visual technicians
to work with the data we capture to give you exactly
what you need. This tool is perfect for testing
deflection or erosion in new and old pipes.
