R&R
Visual, Inc. offers a full line of standard video inspection services for
a wide range of applications. Video cameras coupled with our robotic
transports allow or specially trained operators to inspect areas that are
physically too small or too dangerous for a human. All cameras are full
color and produce broadcast quality images. Pipelines from 3/8 inch to
1200 inch and larger pipelines can be inspected using our services. Camera
systems for pipeline 4 inch and larger are listed and labeled as explosion
proof for added safety in all environments. R&R Visual utilizes the
following instruments to perform video based inspection services:
Pan & Tilt Camera System For Pipes
And Boreholes
These unique cameras allow the operator to point
the camera and lighting assembly at the area to be inspected. This
provides a
very detailed inspection of interior pipe walls, borehole and drilled
shaft walls, or any other confined area. Camera head is capable of panning
a full 360 degrees and rotating a full 360 degrees.
Robotic Transports For
Pipeline And Cavities
R&R Visual uses a wide range of different
camera transports to inspect pipelines and confined spaces. Most pipeline
robotics are whee led
tractors with variable speed controllers. Small cavity inspection can be
completed using a rubber tracked robot capable of changing geometry to
negotiate obstacles. Our largest robot, weighing in at over 300 pounds,
can be retrofitted with a wireless system to perform light work and
inspections at a distance of over a mile. Smaller crawlers are capable of
traveling up to 1000 linear feet from a single entry point.
Video Boroscopes From 6mm Diameter
For those smaller areas, we utilize video
boroscopes with high quality imaging chips and articulating head. These miniature
cameras
have self contained light sources to illuminate and image small pipelines,
cavities, and internal working of machinery. This is a diverse inspection
tool and the possibilities are endless. These systems are very compact,
allowing our operator to carry them with them on airlines for faster
service to our customers. Currently we have probes as small as 6mm in
diameter with working lengths of up to 25 feet.
Deep Tunnel Inspection Camera System
The deep tunnel inspection camera is specifically
built and utilized for inspection of very large diameter subsurface
tunnels. We have inspected tunnels up to 300 feet deep, 30 feet in
diameter, and 17 miles long. This base system is adapted to meet our
customers needs on a per project basis.
Push Rod Cameras For Small Diameter Pipelines And Boreholes
Push propelled pan & tilt cameras are used to inspect small diameter pipelines with
extended distances. Pipelines from 2 inch and up, with
lateral length up to 500 feet can be inspected with these broadcast
quality camera systems. Common uses are sewers, water pipelines,
electrical conduits, boreholes, and many others. A unique feature is the
self uprighting camera. This allows the picture to always stay upright on
the screen even if the camera flips over. This prevents confusion when
viewing later.
